Instructors
Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to
training in the art of Tae Kwon Do and other martial arts. Each
instructor has attained a certain level of expertise to qualify
them as an instructor and mentor. Through extensive training,
certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained
mastery in this martial art and now enjoys sharing their skill
and passing it on to their students. Here are a few of East
Coast Martial Arts's instructors and other staff members, starting
with Tommy Lee.
Tommy
Lee (4TH Degree Black Belt)
Founder/Master Instructor
Master Tommy Lee
has been involved in Martial for over 30 years. His school is highly
recognized in the Industry as being one of the Top Schools in the
Country. He has trained in many systems including Tae Kwon
Do, Choi Kwang Do, Judo, Wrestling, Boxing,Kickboxing and several
other systems. He is currently a nationally certified Child Safety Instructor, Tactical Master Instructor for CDT (Non-Deadly Force Compliance Training), and is an LRT (Last Resort Tactics) "Survive" Instructor.
Mr. Lee not only has a successful
Martial Arts Studio, he is a National Speaker, Trainer and Spokesperson
for the Martial Arts Industry. Mr. Lee has been inducted into several
Martial Arts Hall of Fame Organizations as well as being known
Internationally for his Consulting Practice in helping Martial
Arts Schools all over the world become better at teaching and operating
their studio's. Mr. Lee was one of only 26 people in the US, Canada, U.K., New
Zealand and Australia that completed this 1st UBBT
Certification.
MR.
ERIK HOLLON (3rd Degree black belt)
Instructor
Mr. Erik has trained in Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai, Kali,
Jun Fan, Silat, Hapkido, KungFu, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and other
forms of grappling. He currently is a 3rd Degree Black Belt
with East Coast Martial Arts. Mr. Erik is the Chief Instructor
for the Little Dragons Programs and heads up the Elite Classes
and Advanced Black Belt Classes at ECMA.

MR. SCOTT
WIDMAYER (2nd Degree Black Belt)
Instructor
Mr. Scott
Widmayer has numerous Local, State and National Honors for AAU
Competition. He has trained and participated in many different
styles of Martial Arts including, Mauy Thai, Boxing, Capoeira,
Jujitsu and is currently a 2nd Degree Black Belt with East Coast
Martial Arts. Mr. Scott is also nationally certified through
the AAU as a 2nd Dan and is an Official Coach and Judge. Mr.
Scott has coached ECMA students at the local, state and national
level.

MR. BRIAN
PACEN (2nd Degree black belt)
Instructor
Mr. Brian is a 2nd Degree Black Belt with East Coast
Martial Arts. He has been training in Martial Arts for over
10 years. He has also trained in Kali, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu
Jitsu, and other grappling arts. Mr. Brian is also
nationally certified in the AAU as a 2nd Dan and is an Official
Coach and Judge. Mr. Brian has coached ECMA students at the
local, state and national level.

MISS Carol Geithner (2nd Degree black belt)
Instructor
Miss Geithner is a 2nd Degree Black Belt. She is one of the instructors that is responsible for the development of our juniors in the Tiny Tiger and Little Dragon Programs.
Miss MARJORIE KNEPP (2nd Degree black belt)
Instructor
Miss Marjorie Knepp is currently a 2nd Degree Black Belt at East Coast Martial Arts. She is also Nationally certified through the AAU Dan Certification Program. Miss Marjorie is the AAU 2004 National Champion in Forms and Sparring. This competition was held in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida this past July of 2004. Miss Marjorie is also nationally certified in the AAU as a 2nd Dan and an Official Coach and Judge. Miss Marjorie has coached ECMA students at the local, state and national levels.
Mr. Matt Killian (XMA Instructor) 
Instructor
Mr. Matt Killian has been training in the Martial Arts for many years. Originally from Illinois, Mr. Matt trained in Florida for the last 5 years and moved to Annapolis in April of 2005. Mr. Matt is a certified Krav Maga Instructor and heads the XMA Xtreeme Martial Arts program at East Coast Martial Arts.
MISS Elizabeth Widmayer (2nd Degree black belt)
Instructor
Miss Elizabeth Widmayer has numerous Local, State and National Honors for AAU Competition. She has trained and participated in many different styles of Martial Arts including, Mauy Thai, Boxing, Capoeria, and is currently a 2nd Degree Black Belt with East Coast Martial Arts. Miss Elizabeth is also nationally certified through the AAU as a 2nd Dan and is an Official Coach and Judge. Miss Elizabeth is the 2005 AAU Women's National Champion in Sparring. She won her title in Greensboro, North Carolina back in June of 2005.
