F.A.Q.
What equipment do I need?
You need gloves for our kickboxing and cage fitness classes. You can also purchase the gloves at either our Annapolis or Edgewater Locations.
Do I have to wait for a specific start date?
No, our classes are ongoing and rotating so you can join in at anytime. If your new, we offer a FREE Trial Class where we will work with you and teach you the basics of what you need to enter a class. Call or register online today for a free trial to see if this is what your looking for.
Do I have to have previous kickboxing experience?
No, we encourage everyone whether you have taken kickboxing or not to try both or Kickboxing and Cage Fitness classes. An orientation is given to everyone prior to the first class, which includes the punches and kicks needed during the class.
Are there advanced classes and beginner classes?
The classes are not run at different levels, but because everyone is working their own pace. The same workout can be low impact or high impact and intense. It all depends on how you modify the exercises and to what pace you go. It’s an awesome workout for both beginners and advanced students. We encourage you to go slow in the beginning and then as you take more classes increase the intensity.
Are there age restrictions?
Yes, this class is for teens and adults. There may be some exceptions to this rule, but rarely.
Are the classes Co – Ed?
Yes, we have both male and female members and the classes are mixed.
